Evaluation
Your first appointment with Sweet Magnolia Speech Therapy, PLLC is crucial in determining your plan of care. Your speech-language pathologist will take approximately 60 minutes to get to know you and your current therapeutic needs through conversation, clinical observation, and standardized and non-standardized measures of assessment. We pride ourselves in our comprehensive assessments targeting your child’s needs from a whole-body perspective!
Treatment
During your initial evaluation, your speech-language pathologist will work with you to develop a plan of care that targets your most pressing functional needs. Your plan of care will include a list of goals, as well as a recommendation for the weekly frequency of therapy services. For speech therapy, this is most often 30 minutes, 1-2x a week.
Commitment
All services provided by a speech-language pathologist take time to foster maximal growth and development. Consistent attendance and follow through with home programming is imperative to the success of the therapeutic process. Please see our FAQs page for more information regarding our attendance policy.
School-Based Contracting
We partner with public, private, and charter schools to provide high-quality speech-language therapy services that support student success. We collaborate closely with school administrators, special education teams, and families to ensure services align with IEP goals, educational standards, and district expectations.
Our clinicians deliver evidence-based assessment, intervention, and consultation services while maintaining clear communication, thorough documentation, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
